Peeling paint and rusted monkey bars haven't stopped Franklin Park from being a popular destination on 14th Street in Allentown but people living around the park feel the children and the community deserve better equipment. Now they've formed a group to do something about it and the city is chipping in money as well

Just monkeying around!Visitors to the Johnny Henderson Family Park enjoy the children’s playground area and spending family time together. Landon Ivey of Louisville, along with Kelsey, Brantley and Allie Ivey of Andalusia, play on the monkey bars on the playground. JHF Park is located inside the Enterprise Recreational Complex on Highway 167 North.
